A new addition to the furniture scene, Cape Town-based Warwick and Quinlan focuses on the design and manufacture of custom furniture pieces for the home.

Established in 2021, the company entered the market at a challenging time but has quickly made a name for itself, raking in over 1 500 orders in its first year.

Warwick and Quinlan explains: “With a background of many years in logistics, film and design we started our journey in 2021, at the height of the pandemic, and despite this our experience in logistics, and our connections paid off and the business grew in no time. As mothers of children (both human and animal), it is challenging – but it is a challenge we love and enjoy!”

But why the drastic jump from logistics to furniture design you may ask?

That’s because they believe that “furniture defines the soul of a home. Hence we take our work very seriously. Creative, comfortable, and classy is our goal and we pour our heart into making every item.”

Their custom design process is quite straightforward: First, the team will help you find your design style and survey your home to see which pieces will fit best where. They will also take the necessary measurements. Next, they will get sketching and as soon as the designs are approved, they will start manufacturing the unique pieces from scratch.
