Casa LV Bespoke Glass Objet

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Casa LV is the shared vision of friends, Lynne and Vilma, who established the company in 2017.

Today, Casa LV is known as creators of bespoke, hand-blown glass objet, including clear and coloured vases and glassware. With a focus on colour, functionality and quality, the team creates the most delicate vases for the home, including their newly launched Luna vase range. Here, the team shares some inspired ideas for decorating with their range of coloured glass vases.

 Statement candleholders

Instead of filling large vases with an abundance of blooms, you can add tall pillar candles – it makes for a lovely display – and it’s a pretty way to get through load shedding!
“Make a statement with our Lara and XL Lara vases – our tallest vases at Casa LV,” suggests the team.  Or opt for a selection of small vases and use them as votives for tea lights. Scatter them around the patio for a lovely little display.

Creative kitchen storage
Large coloured vases are also a great alternative to fruit bowls in a kitchen.
Have fun and coordinate the vases with the fruit for a bright, colourful display.

Cool and colourful ice buckets
Another lovely idea is to use a large colourful vase as an ice bucket when entertaining.
The pop of colour is sure to delight guests.

Incorporate coloured vases into your bathroom decor
Coloured glassware is a great way to add some colour to a contemporary all-white bathroom. Use a selection of coloured vases as candleholders or to store bath salt, cotton balls or other essentials.

Utilise coloured vases as table decor
Throwing a fab dinner party? Why not use coloured glassware to create a unique table setting? Small bud vases can serve as placeholders with guests’ names written on the glass or a tag tied to a pretty bloom.
