Geberit: Ready, Shower, Go
Ready! Shower! Go! It is no surprise to us that showers have taken over the bathroom regimen over other practices of hygiene. Showers aesthetics have evolved significantly over time, moving from purely functional spaces to area of relaxation and design statement.
With the Geberit floor-even shower trays and the floor drain range, you are guaranteed key elements to any Geberit inspired bathroom.
The shower trays are available in various shapes and sizes and are designed to be durable and easy to clean, with sleek, minimalist designs.
Let’s take a good glance at them individually.
The Geberit Setaplano range: This is a shower surface made of a high quality solid surface material. The advantages of this material are evident from the very first touch, which in contrast to metal, glass or ceramic, feels pleasantly warm and silky- smooth to the touch. Furthermore, the floor-even shower surface is particularly easy to clean. The characteristics of this shower range include:
variety of sizes to a bathroom of any size and shape.
Non-porous and particularly non-slip material.
There are no edges in the drain area where dirt can collect.
Practical comb insert for easy cleaning of the shower
Easy and reliable installation by the skilled person thanks to the pre-
mounted components.
The Geberit Olona range: Impressively elegant, the floor-even Geberit shower tray showcases a white matt appearance and a stylish designer drain cover. The tangible strength of the material, made from resin stone and finished with gelcoat, offers a reassuringly solid underfoot experience. The Geberit Olona shower tray comes with attached sealing fleece fitted at the factory. This range comes with the below characteristics:
Floor-even shower made of resin stone.
Antislip class C
Easy-to-clean surface
Simple and secure sealing with integrated sealing fleece
Available in 20 different sizes
One particular feature that stands out is the comb insert in the drainage. Everyone knows how annoying it is when the water in the trap starts to drain more slowly because the shower drain hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The main reason for this is the hair that gets stuck in the drain while we’re showering. Together with the oils found in soaps and shampoos, they clump together and can block the discharge pipe. This is where the comb- shaped drain screen helps to minimise blockages by catching hair and dirt when showering.
The comb insert is easy to remove and can be cleaned in next to no time – ideally after every shower. In this way, the screen contributes to even greater hygiene in the bathroom.
