Plascon House Tour: The Danish Coast
One usually doesn’t associate the Scandinavian countries with beach houses. This house tour breaks down preconceived ideas about the archipelago.
Originally built in 1885, this tribute to a century long past has been renovated with plenty of charm and character. Surprisingly, much of the bones of this old home have been retained, including the wooden ceilings in the kitchen. These have been given a thorough paint job in other areas of the house, where white and subtle grey increase the height visually. Printed wallpaper can also be found in this space which creates an ambiance of texture.
We love the colour combination of teal and blush- such an interesting and feminine match. Another noteworthy area is the quaint balcony with a view of the Baltic sea. One can only imagine the fresh sea breeze coming off the icy water. How refreshing!
