Duravit: Luv is Minimalistic in design, versatile in use
From the oasis at home through to the luxury hotel: the Luv bathtub from Duravit can be interpreted in any number of ways.
Relaxation with a view: In the “Blaue Burg” boutique hotel, minimalist design harmonizes perfectly with the rustic ambience. The day draws to an enjoyable close with a breathtaking view of the Allgäu Alps at an elevation of 1,250 meters.
Treat the bathroom to a touch of Scandinavian elegance: the Luv bathtub by Cecilie Manz transforms the room into a stylish design oasis. Inspired by the simple charm of a water bowl, the bathtub impresses with its gently curved, oval silhouette that blends seamlessly into any interior. Made from the velvety mineral-cast material DuroCast®, the bathtub affords high levels of comfort – be that in the bathroom at home or in a luxury hotel.
The perfection of simplicity: The cliff-top dwelling Casa Dos Mores on the Portuguese Algarve features a fascinating minimalist concept, in which the architect Marlene Uldschmidt similarly opted for the Luv bathtub, perfectly staged with natural, reserved shades. Eye-catching design with a feel-good factor
The Luv bathtub showcases its adaptability across a range of applications. In the “Blaue Burg” boutique hotel in the Allgäu Alps, for instance, the calming atmosphere created by the pared-down design and quality workmanship comes to the fore. “We were impressed straight away both by how the Luv bathtub looks and feels. It blends perfectly into the space and offers our guests a perfect feel-good experience,” said Simon Schlachter, hotelier of the “Blaue Burg”.
Gentle contrasts: The neo-Basque family residence “Villa H” underwent extensive renovation, which also included the bathrooms. Warm sand beige, white, and black combine to create a contemporary bathroom concept in which the Luv bathtub also has its place. (Image source: Alexandre Réty)
Luv as a master of metamorphosis
The Luv bathtub also demonstrates its potential in a range of scenarios in other high-profile projects. These include for instance the Seaview Bungalow in Montauk, California, and the Hotel Villa Copenhagen in the Danish capital. In each case, the bathtub impresses with its high design standards and sleek elegance. Whether freestanding, in the corner, or as a back-to-wall version, a suitable model is available for any application.
