Duravit Thrills with Innovation and Design
The complete bathroom manufacturer, Duravit AG, recently showcased its cutting-edge products at the ISH trade fair, which took place from March 17 to 21, 2025, in Frankfurt. As the world’s leading trade fair for innovative bathroom design, energy-efficient heating and air-conditioning technology, and renewable energies, ISH attracted around 163,157 visitors, with nearly half coming from outside Germany. Duravit presented its new offerings on an 800 m² stand.
Stephan Tahy, CEO of Duravit AG, expressed his satisfaction with the event: “ISH once again proved itself to be a melting pot for national and international visitors and showed us how valuable direct dialog with our partners is. We’ve been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic feedback about our new Balcoon range by designer Patricia Urquiola. Similarly, the wholly positive resonance towards our technological innovation, the Hero Edition of the ME by Starck toilet, gives us confidence. For us as a premium supplier, the trade fair is an important showcase where we can physically present our brand products and enhance the dialog with our customers.”
Unique Design Highlights
At ISH, Duravit introduced its latest innovations in bathroom design and sustainable technologies, under the motto “Upgrade your everyday.” A standout in the collection was the new Balcoon design series by Patricia Urquiola, which blends minimalistic aesthetics with high functionality and extensive customization options. The collection offers a variety of products that are not only visually appealing but also meet everyday needs. With Balcoon, Patricia Urquiola has created a series that complements modern lifestyles while meeting the highest standards of design and quality.
Experts on the Ground and Industry Trends
The trade fair also provided insights into current industry trends and technological advancements. Duravit’s product management and sales experts were present to engage with the specialist audience. One of the key highlights was the Hero Edition of the ME by Starck toilet, which combines timeless design with the latest technological innovations. This model features the powerful, almost silent DuraFlush rotational flushing technology and the antibacterial DuraShield® ceramic glaze. Visitors had the opportunity to experience its ease of use and straightforward installation firsthand through interactive events. Duravit also celebrated the tenth anniversary of its “top tradesman” program, expressing gratitude to its partners for their long-standing collaboration.
