Duravit Trends with Latest Collections
This year Duravit presents new designs and a holistic bathroom structure that is divided into four areas of application. With approximately a dozen innovations, including three bathroom collections, three tap fitting series, numerous technological and product developments, Duravit continues to set trends for the future while simultaneously focusing its product range as a brand manufacturer of modern designer bathrooms.
Luv, Design by Cecilie Manz Duravit and the Danish designer Cecilie Manz present their interpretation of Nordic chic with a new series: “Luv.” Luv stands out above all thanks to an elegant purism that fuses modernity and warmth (one of Manz’s many defining qualities). Cecilie Manz spent much of her childhood in the workshop of her parents, Bodil and Richard, two well-known Danish ceramic artists. Now her collaboration with Duravit has offered the designer an opportunity to work with ceramics herself, while creating an entire bathroom range.
Vero Air, Design by Duravit The new collection retains the iconic, rectangular character of the Vero washbasins while introducing new technical distinctions. Through the recent additions of rimless toilets, a new range of bathtubs and various pieces of furniture using c-bonded technology, Vero Air has become a complete bathroom range while retaining its strong, design-focused identity.
DuraSquare, Design by Duravit With its new DuraSquare collection, Duravit presents an upgrade of Vero Air that sets new standards with its clarity, precision and reduction. The design of the new series blends the meticulous edges of the rectangular outer form with organically flowing inner contours.
Shower + Bath, Design by EOOS People who live in cities often require creative solutions for limited living spaces. With its innovative Shower + Bath combination, Duravit has succeeded in uniting contemporary bathroom design with optimum use of space. The Shower + Bath, designed by EOOS, features a two-in-one walk-in shower and bathtub.
B.1, B.2, C.1 In 2017, designer bathroom manufacturer Duravit will present three universal tap fitting ranges –B.1, B.2 and C.1 – for the showroom and project sector. The ranges are appropriately positioned in the entry-level and mid-level price segment.
Light and Mirrors At ISH 2017, the designer bathroom manufacturer Duravit will extend its modular range in the “Light and Mirrors” product category. By expanding its range of mirrored cabinets, Duravit is responding to often-encountered project requirements of architects and planners seeking comfort and functionality at the mid-price range.
Unified console system Bathroom planning in the future will be more easily customizable, thanks to a new console system design from Duravit. Duravit will offer uniform furniture consoles in two different thicknesses with variable widths and depths. These consoles, available in regular and compact versions, can be combined with vanity units and furniture from a total of seven Duravit ranges.
HygieneGlaze 2.0 The new HygieneGlaze 2.0, which is baked into the ceramic during firing, is not only exceedingly effective, but also acts very quickly. After just six hours, almost all bacteria (90%) is killed. After twelve hours, a 99.9% reduction is achieved – the same effect as its predecessor, but in half the time.
