CLM Home: How To Style A Kid’s Room With Honey & Mustard

Colour trends come and go, but when it comes to your kid’s bedroom, you can get as creative as you like. Let your imagination run wild with the latest colours trends to bring cheer to any little person’s space. At CLM Home, the team are celebrating Honey & Mustard – those warm, feel-good hues that will brighten up any space.

MUSLIN WRAP – MUSTARD

Mustard Love

We love rich mustard tones that are the colours of autumn. Mustard is also a great way to bring warmth to your interior through the cooler months, and when perfectly styled with other colours from the colour wheel, you’ll easily achieve a designer look that you’ll love.

Here’s how to style your little one’s room with Mustard…

  • Choose accessories that tie into this accent colour. Blankets, throws, decor and more can enhance the look with pops of mustard spread across the room.
  • In a cooler colour palette, choose mustard as a pop of energetic infusion, from the bed linen to the drapes, mustard can invigorate even the most neutral space with bright new energy.
  • It’s the perfect gender-neutral colour, so bring mustard into a girl or boy room for an added boost of refreshing.

Less is More

Although the unconventional choice, mustard certainly has its place and can add to a stylish nursery or playroom. Keep it subtle, because when overused, mustard can be quite overpowering. We suggest keeping it to the minimum with slight bursts of mustard tones carefully placed around your child’s room.

A winning combo

Paired with grey, mustard pops beautifully. If used as an accent colour, you can also choose to swap it out seasonally for different colours. Grey and mustard are a winning combination in our books!

Colour trends may come and go, but quality kids’ furniture does not change. It is something worth investing in to ensure a beautifully functional and stylish kids’ space. Shop the latest products and trends at CLM Home.

Big pillows that the child can hug at night and soft blankets are also great. Bedding and rugs should be soft and comfortable. Adding family pictures will make the child feel safe. A teepee or canopy can be an excellent hiding place where children can read books, play or have a nap. Roofing Companies Green Valley Ranch
