Spotlight Earth Interior Architects
Specialising in restaurants, retail and office spaces, as well as residential designs, Earth Interior Architects offers commercial interior design, retail design, and project management services to discerning clients both locally and abroad.
“We provide innovative and effective design solutions to a multitude of sectors for clients throughout South Africa and further afield,” says the company. “We excel in creating environments that are timeless, high quality and functional which create both retail experiences and increase the productivity of staff. Our projects include office fit-outs, to restaurants, retail stores and residential interiors.”
“We offer a complete and comprehensive design solution to our clients, from finding the right space to the design, fit out, relevant documentation for council and service requirements such as POS and Wifi solutions.”
The company’s extensive portfolio includes several hospitality projects, such as the masculine-modern Riverside Boutique Hotel & Restaurant in the DRC.
Also part of their portfolio is Echo Lodge in Botswana.
“The design concept for the lodge is earth tones and textures to blend with the natural surroundings. We chose to predominantly build using rammed earth, both for the aesthetics of the finished product as well as its durability and thermal mass properties making it very eco-friendly,” explains the team of their design process, which is instantly recognisable for its nature-centric approach and aesthetic.
