If you want to go darker, but not quite black, then navy blue is definitely a crowd pleaser. The rich calming shade pairs well with many other colours and works well to bring a calming, elegant and refined touch to your living quarters. Navy seems to have something special that not many other colours have – the ability to work alone or as an accent with other shades! It is a timeless tone that we are thrilled to see reemerging in interior trends for 2018. While many dark colours can feel gloomy, Navy Blue is a stable colour that will spice up any outfit or interior design project with its appealing and mysterious feel. As reminiscent of the ocean, it is also a very relaxing colour, making this another the reason why Navy Blue is such a favourite amongst many.
If you’re feeling adventurous, bring navy into your interior through a modern sofa system – a fully upholstered navy couch is a gorgeous statement piece and you can now shop the look through Jonathan Adler (7) or Block & Chisel (8). Add an occasional chair in this tone such as the one by Jonathan Ader from Jonathan Adler (3). What about a feature item for your living room, such as this bespoke Heritage Sideboard by Boca-do-lobo (2) – striking in our favourite tone in vintage print! You could also use it as an accent tone to anchor your living room. A gorgeous statement rug in navy is a timeless addition to a modern interior. Shop the look with this great addition by Veronica Lidchi (5) and (1) Delightfull Diana Suspension lamp from Province Lighting 1. Province Lighting 2. Heritage Side Board 3.
