Plascon House Tour: Eclectic Modern Abode
So spacious and creative, today’s interior strikes just the right balance between indulgence and simplicity! A mix and match of different classics combined with a fresh and modern feel!
Firstly, aqua is such an energy-filled and intriguing colour and we love how it works its way into the various spaces around this home. Here, a beautiful aqua and white print adorns the wall, infusing the entire room with creativity and spark, against a white interior space. Vintage finds including white suitcases are used on display in this living room as well as an eclectic mix of nik-naks above the side cabinet. The eclectic and Boho vibe continues to the dining room where a mix of vintage and modern chairs completes a unique dining area. Our favourite shade of aqua reemerges in the scatters on display and a few perfectly poised glass bottles on show on the table. The lounge is bright and spacious, complete with arched ceilings which extend the illusion of space upwards, as well as huge windows that frame the room and invite the beauty of the garden indoors. A stunning mustard occasional chair offers contrast in this space, perfectly paired with two simple sofas. In the bedroom, it is most certainly the beautiful headboard that is the main feature in the space. The details of which are intriguing and reminiscent of ancient Indian latticework. An oversized bed covered in luxurious velvet finish duvet, fills the space – a plush, elegant and Boho retreat, complete with pops of colour as evident in the mix of bed scatters. Mosaic tiles are the contemporary choice in the bathroom, again in an aqua-shade that infuses the bathroom with a vibrant and colourful atmosphere that we simply adore. Mosaic tiles are perfect for the bathroom and here we see them in full use, from floor to ceiling in a modern shower. Paired with muted grey walls and rustic hanging towel rack, this room is eclectic and contemporary! Via Hus & Hem
