Fling your home into the most colourful season of them all with a stylish spring decorating palette bursting with colour and texture.
If nature dresses itself in fresh new colours why not transition too? Spring is all about a fresh new start, it’s all about showing that vibrance and creating a space that makes you feel rejuvenated and energetic, it’s time to emerge from our winter cocoons!
Let’s take a look at the best colour combinations of the season:
Lemon, Lime, and Mint
Is the burst of vibrance you need to bring the outdoors in. These classic colours never goes out of style and can easily elevate a space. Whether you add it to your walls, your statement pieces, pillows, you name it, these colours would be the perfect addition to your already-earthy spaces.
At NancyDesign we completed a bedroom in the Midstream Estate, which included a gorgeous green theme.

Blush Pink
While you can, of course, mix and match a variety of other colours, blush pink is always a go-to statement colour for spring. There is a reason light pinks, specifically, are considered a non-neutral neutral in interior design since they can so often replace creams and beiges. Invest in smaller items like soft pink pillows or throws for the home.
At NancyDesign we have wonderful options! Our Pink Dreams Design Fleece Throw at R1,553.00 is a great way to showcase pink tones in the home.
French Blue and White
Mixing pale blues with your natural wood furniture and warm neutral walls will give you the beachy vibe of your dreams. Incorporating colours like blue doesn’t mean you have to change your wall colour. Try a rug, if you’d like a more temporary option.
The Rynfield Home is a perfect example of using blues and whites in details of the home.
