The Free KwaZulu-Natal Carnival Day.
25 May, Durban:

A first of its kind, the KwaZulu Natal World Carnival is taking place this Africa Day, May 25, in Durban. Sponsored by Durban Tourism and SAFA eThekwini, this authentic and vibrant parade is free to all who want to attend and celebrate World Africa Day.

The aim is to celebrate the province of KZN, the people who live in it, and their diverse races and cultures, from the food to the culture and the rhythms of their sounds.

Century HomeShow 2024: Redefining Luxury Living at Helderfontein Residential Estate,

The Good Life Show: ‘Plant-Based Chef of the Year’ Competition
1st–2nd of June, Johannesburg and Cape Town:

Are you an aspiring chef with a keen interest in plant-based cooking? Do you have a talent for making plant-based cooking really come alive? Do you believe that there’s more to veggies than we’re letting on.

This is your opportunity to enter the ‘Plant-Based Chef of the Year’ competition, which will be hosted by the SA Chefs Association.

The competition will be live at The Good Life Show,wheren contestants will be asked to create plant-based dishes in both the ‘pastry’ and ‘hot dish’ categories.

This exciting culinary battle takes place on Saturday, June 1st, and Sunday, June 2nd, and winners will be crowned in both the junior and senior divisions.
