The Ceiling Flap Out Scroll Down TV Lift

Based in Somerset West, just outside of Cape Town, in the Western Cape, Definition Automation has been in the home automation game for over 20 years, designing and manufacturing custom television and screen mechanisms to lift, swivel, drop down and flip-out screens on demand.

“In 2008 we decided to focus primarily on TV lifts and have continued to expand and develop our TV lift range, which now includes our one-of-its-kind Ottoman TV Lift. Our Ceiling Flap-Out TV Lift evolved to include the option to Scroll Down and rotate. Over the years, we have designed and introduced the Underbed TV Lift, Foot-of-the-Bed TV Lift, Cabinet TV Lift, Monitor Lifts, iMac Desktop Lift, and many others.”

One of their most popular television lifts is the original Cabinet Lift but with a few design tweaks, of course, to make it even more functional.

“Also known as a pop-up TV lift, or a pop-up TV mechanism, this is one of the most versatile TV lifts there is. It can be used in a variety of furniture pieces or fixed into custom furniture, countertops, desks, and foot-of-the-bed units. The true pop-up TV Lifts are the Push Lid TV Lift and the Fixed Lid TV Lift, we’ve added the Rotate Cabinet TV Lift which rotates 180 degrees  left or right and can be stopped at any point in the rotation for the desired angle.”

Another popular option is the company’s unique Ottoman TV Lift.

Definition Automation Ottoman Tv Lift 

“Unlike other furniture TV lifts, this was designed to safely hide and store your TV when not in use, as well as to be as fully functional as your conventional piece of furniture. It has a low height profile which means it sits below the base of the bed and out of view. The TV bracket is mounted underneath the lid/seat of the ottoman and when actuated open the TV is scrolled softly and silently (by two powerful actuator motors) to eyes view at 90 degrees. The Ottoman TV Lift is exclusive to Definition Automation, having come up with the concept and design ourselves. This product is made to the client’s preference in terms of fabric and upholstery and comes with or without storage compartments on the side.”
