Slamp reinterprets lighting at Euroluce 2017
Robert Wilson’s enveloping performance during Euroluce 2017 provided an interesting roundtable discussion on the role of light in art, architecture and design, involving some of the world’s most celebrated architects, the suggestive atmosphere that Studio Job’s collection lent to Rossana Orlandi’s space, and the unveiling of “the perfect writing lamp”, a collaboration with Montblanc.
Robert Wilson’s immersive ‘Lighting of Other Worlds’ installation welcomed a myriad of industry professionals and guests alike. It was a flux of transportive stations, each a unique, intimate perspective of Slamp’s newest lighting collections. Setting the mark with the latest innovations in international lighting trends. The roundtable discussion, held inside the stand, saw a meeting of some of the greatest architectural, artistic, and theatrical minds. A collaboration with Montblanc then led to the creation of Overlay, ‘the perfect writing lamp’, and its inauguration on Via Montenapoleone for the Fuori Salone, on 6 April. The Lighting Archives of Studio Job also reigned supreme in the Rossana Orlandi Gallery throughout design week, and during the ‘Dinner for 100 VIPs’, sponsored by Slamp. We look forward to even greater innovations from the light specialists in the near future. Slamp is available from Arora Lights in South Africa
