My Hares & Graces: Exhibitions, Festivals and Fun
Renowned sculptor and artist Carol Slabolepszy from My Hares and Graces has been making her mark in the world of art with her stunning creations and outdoor sculptures. The recent Hilton Festival in early August was a testament to her talent, as her sculptures drew significant attention and admiration from attendees.
The Hilton Festival, which brought together a diverse group of visual artists, singers, and performers, was reminiscent of the original Grahamstown Festival, now the National Arts Festival in Makhanda. My Hares and Graces’ work was a highlight of the event, sparking curiosity and inspiring conversations about the art of bronze casting.
Upcoming Exhibition: Museum for Dogs in Cape Town
My Hares and Graces is also thrilled to announce an upcoming exhibition at the Museum for Dogs in Cape Town, a unique museum dedicated to ‘man’s best friend.’ Located at 95 Keerom St Gardens, CT, this exhibition promises to be a fun and engaging experience, showcasing some incredible sculpting skills.
Success Story: Bronze Mvundla
My Hares and Graces is delighted to share the completion of the bronze masterpiece, Mvundla. Owner Carol had the privilege of visiting Kim Goodwin’s foundry near Nottingham Road in KZN. Here, she witnessed the final layer being applied before polishing off Mvundla. The result is breathtaking – a stunning combination of bronze, Verdigris, and deep green.
A Limited Edition of 10 bronze Mvundlas will be available, with quotations upon request.
