Plascon House Tour: Spanish Seaside Living
Let’s get swept away in the heat of a Spanish summer and envision a home that blends indoor and outdoor living beautifully. Today’s stylish Spanish villa is idyllic – and leaves us dreaming of glorious summer days spent overlooking a pristine coastline!
Here, the outdoor terrace is as much a part of the home as the interior spaces. With gorgeous sea views, this area is an entertainer’s dream. Outdoor couches, a dining space and ample seating brings comfort to the outdoors and we love that the entire terrace can be closed off from the elements thanks to crisp white drapes that extend down the width of the home.
Soft shades of blue and beige work together seamlessly on the exterior of this lavish abode. The indoor space flows out beautifully, and similar shades and style of furniture continue from the indoors out. We also love the modern architecture of this space, with dark wooden fold-away doors that open up completely to give us full access to those amazing sea views!
White is refreshing inside this seaside villa. Pops of colour are added through art on the walls and carefully curated pieces that add interest to the home. Accent pieces boast pretty pops of coral, yellow and green against the neutral backdrop of white and beige. A beautiful, understated and casual space for living and entertaining.
Notice how the striped soft furnishings continue into the bedroom and just about every area of this home. In the below room, a section is utilised as a little study nook under a window. The room is bright and lived-in with ample storage for everyday use.
A nifty built-in double bunk fills the children’s room, custom-made with a built-in ladder and clever headboard storage section. We love the light, airiness of this space, complete with ample natural lighting and an all-white frame.
