Capitol Complex Table
by
Cassina
Hommage à Pierre JeanneretIncluded in Unesco’s 2016 Cultural Heritage list, the extraordinary architecture of Le Corbusier’s Capitol Complex, designed by Chandigarh in 1951, has received accolades for its celebration of an independent nation open to modernity. This table is amongst the furnishing used for the large gatherings of the Legislative Assembly. It almost evokes the serious activities taking place, with two large, solid wood, graphic elements shaped like “cornes entrecroisées”.
