Cape Town-based furniture company Cane Time has come a long way since its humble beginnings weaving cane baskets in a garage in 1976.

Headquartered in France, the Ego Paris is “carried by an entrepreneurial family spirit and the desire to showcase excellence “à la Française” on the contemporary design scene.” As such, the company remains faithful to its founding motto to this day: “ingenuity, modularity, conviviality”.
Royal Botania
This motto is reflected in the well-consider, highly customisable designs of its pieces that effortlessly adapt to the user’s needs. Take the Kama coffee table, for instance, with its adjustable tray for work or dining or the Extrados dining table with table runners that can function as a cutting board, ice bucket or plant tray.
In addition to the innovative, modular designs they offer, Ego Paris also promises efficiency when it comes to manufacturing and delivering orders. “Thanks to a controlled manufacturing process, Ego Paris has developed an agility that allows them to deliver the furniture to customers in a record time, without cutting any corners on quality,” says the company. “Sunloungers, dining sets, armchairs and other pieces are ready in record time: in only three weeks the customised furniture leaves the factory.”
