HALDANE continues to reinforce its position in contemporary design through this achievement.

SuperRational began with a memory. As a design student, Haldane was captivated by an image of the Memphis group’s Tawaraya boxing ring sofa — a space described as being for intellectual sparring, but which appeared to signal the beginning of something far more intimate. That tension between rigour and pleasure is exactly what SuperRational is built on. HALDANE draws on this conceptual duality to shape its design language, balancing structure with comfort and adaptability.

One rational form. Infinite configurations. Recycled stainless-steel frames, developed by HALDANE, that are as beautiful as they are functional. Upholstery in Crevin’s environmentally considered fabrics — removable, washable, and built to last. A modular system that moves with the seasons, scales with a space, and holds its logic from plan view to the smallest detail.

The design’s modularity allows it to adapt seamlessly to a variety of outdoor environments, from compact urban terraces to expansive hospitality settings.
