Cape Town based Kino
A relatively new kid on the decor block, Cape Town-based Kino is an award-winning furniture studio headed up by designers Nico Hendriksz and Anton Louw.
Passionate about quality craftsmanship, each of the studio’s pieces is manufactured in-house by a skilled team.
Simultaneously classic and on-trend with novel designs and colours, these new pieces by the design duo are sure to make a statement in 2023.
Available in American walnut, black ash or natural ash, the wall-mounted vanity stand is a looker.
“This multifunctional product is designed to become part of your daily routine. Whether it functions as a dressing table, a coat rack or entrance feature. It is an elegant, yet striking piece of furniture you would want to interact with,” explains the team.
Classic yet contemporary, the side table is available in a variety of colour finishes.
“These side tables are simple and functional. They are the perfect addition to your living room and come in a variety of different timber and colour combinations,” says the designers.
Straddling biophilic and minimalist design the Stam Dining Table with dove green base is bang on trend.
“This dining table features a solid timber top, floating on a coated steel base. The slight curves of the tabletop, make for an inclusive dining experience, with chairs angled slightly towards the centre of the table. The centre base allows uninterrupted legroom around the table,” says Nico and Anton.
Light and colourful, these chairs pair perfectly with the Stem Dining Table.
“This stackable dining chair has a light, contemporary appearance, with refined detailing. The solid timber construction is expertly finished to highlight the natural beauty of the wood grain. This product comes in six different finishes and suits a wide range of interior design styles. Whether it be timelessly elegant in American Walnut, or strikingly playful in colour,” says the team.
